What HostBuddy AI does well
HostBuddy AI replies without a person in the loop from the start. Ours can too, but only on a property you put on autopilot and only above a confidence score you set. On day one theirs answers guests and ours drafts.
It connects to your existing system, so adopting it is not a migration. If your PMS is working for you and messaging is the only gap, that is the cheapest change you can make.

We charge per property and per room, not per message or per stored conversation, so there is no tier at which a thread ages out or a busy month costs more. The whole thread stays in the inbox.
The module is inside the PMS, so a draft is written against the actual calendar, the actual folio balance, the housekeeping state of the room and your real add-on catalogue — not a synced snapshot of them.
Upsells come from the add-on catalogue you already maintain, at the prices you already set, and an add-on you create this morning can be offered this afternoon. An offer you have not priced is never quoted.
AI guest messaging is an add-on on the account you already have. No separate vendor login, and every action lands in the same audit log as the rest of the property.

Read off their own pricing page on 2026-09-08. Not criticism — just what the plan says, so you can price it properly.
Their published tiers cap conversation history at 30 days on Pro and 60 days on Elite. What a guest told you last season is a normal thing to want to look up.
Their pricing page lists team collaboration as absent on Pro and limited to three people on Elite.
The Pro plan lists Smart Inbox as "View Only". Guest Journeys are capped at two on Pro and five on Elite.
The website chat widget, learning from past conversations, custom tone, the sandbox and webhooks are each listed as tier-gated on their pricing page.
Not a criticism of their engineering — it is what a standalone product must do. It sees what the integration exposes, when the integration syncs.
